Service.

"The greatest among you will be your servant." Matthew 23:11

Feel-A-Backpack Project

I founded the Feel-A-Backpack Project in 2021. The idea started simple enough: I wanted to take one of my Walmart paychecks to pack backpacks with food and necessities and get it into the hands of someone impacted by homelessness during the winter months in Fort Worth.

What started as a personal initiative has raised thousands of dollars and put resources directly into the community. The project runs on the belief that serving the people around you should be a priority, especially when they need it most.

Recently, we ran it again in 2026 and it's not going away anytime soon.

Other Ways I Serve

Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church
Member, volunteer, and active participant in community events including outreach for homeless populations and previously incarcerated individuals.
Black Heart Association
Volunteer. BHA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving heart health outcomes for underserved communities that face the greatest concerns, through advocacy, education, and empowerment. They help individuals understand the causes, effects, and symptoms of heart disease and take meaningful action to prevent it.
FitHouston
Volunteer. FitHouston is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that promotes health by increasing physical activity in free outdoor spaces and through free wellness programs. Nearly half of all adults in Harris County do not meet federal physical activity guidelines. FitHouston works to bring free movement and wellness resources directly into the communities where people live, eat, learn, play, and pray.
MWOA: The Misunderstood Warehouse of Art
I'm building a company as a social enterprise in the streetwear and lifestyle industry. A social enterprise operates at the intersection of commerce and service, generating revenue while prioritizing positive social impact and reinvesting in the communities it comes from rather than extracting from them. The streetwear industry has long been built on Black and Brown culture, yet the profits have historically flowed away from those same communities. This is why I chose to use a portion of profits to serve these communities.
Teaching Character Building
Though a paid role, I saw inside the NES school system in Houston and specifically requested to teach character building, an elective specialty that hadn't been done before in that context.
My Belief A True Leader is First a Servant.
